High School Scholarship Programs
Awarding 7 high school students to support their post-secondary goals.
With scholarships ranging from $500 – $2,000, we invite high school juniors and seniors to apply from November through January.
Marie Whitaker Scholarship for Juniors
Three $500 awards are available to current Delaware County High School Juniors.
Dorothy James Scholarship for Seniors
Three $1,000 awards are available to current Delaware County High School Seniors.
Claire McGeehan Leadership Award
Multi-year scholarship of $2,000 per year for up to 4 years awarded to one high school senior.

Money Match Program for Education
The IDA Education Money Match program is a smart and easy way for students to receive funds for post-secondary education programs.
The program provides a powerful incentive for individuals by matching their savings for education 3:1. You save $1,000, and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern NJ will match $3,000 to be applied to tuition expenses.
Participants complete virtual financial education workshops designed to enhance financial literacy and provide practical tools for debt management, budgeting, savings, improving credit scores, and long-term financial planning. Additionally, virtual educational counseling workshops promote career development and exploration.
