Volunteer: 6th Annual Community Thanksgiving
November 20, 2024 @ 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
It takes a community to feed a community!
Join us in preparing meals with the Cedar Creek Catering Team for this special event! Volunteers will help with tasks such as chopping, seasoning, washing, and organizing. Adults 18+ are welcome to sign up for this volunteer opportunity.
All volunteers must register on our event page! We’re thrilled by the community’s enthusiasm to help, and to give everyone a chance to participate, we kindly ask that you sign up for only one volunteer shift at this time. Please check back the week before the event to see if additional shifts become available.
In partnership with Cedar Creek Catering, Media Fellowship House, Media Food Bank, and First Church Media, we invite the local community to support us in making our 6th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner a huge success!
Join us for donation and volunteer opportunities leading up to the event. Volunteer shifts run from Wednesday 11/20 through Saturday, 11/23.
ALL are welcome to dine in or take-out meals from 1 – 5 pm. Please share this opportunity with your friends, family, and neighbors. We hope to bring joy and warmth to many this holiday season.
In recent years, we have prepared and served over 600 delicious meals catered by Cedar Creek Catering and prepared with loving hands from our community. Please join us in volunteering, donating, or enjoying a meal with your neighbors.
