Digital Skills Workshop: Email Safety Tips

Media Fellowship House invites community members to join us for our monthly Digital Skills Workshop Series, a Lunch & Learn program designed to build confidence and practical technology skills in a welcoming, supportive environment. This month’s workshop, Digital Skills Workshop: Email Safety Tips, will cover key topics including:

  • Identify & Explain the main email threats
  • How to stay safe while using emails
  • Provide examples of scam emails
  • Group Walkthrough of steps to evaluating

Whether you’re looking to strengthen your digital knowledge, stay safe online, or build confidence navigating today’s digital world, this hands-on session will provide clear guidance and practical tips you can use right away.

Registration is required to attend. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.

Meet our instructor

Julia Messam is Media Fellowship House’s Digital Navigator, focused on expanding access, confidence, and opportunity through technology. She works to remove barriers to digital access and build confidence in essential technology skills. Julia supports community members in securing affordable devices and internet service, strengthening digital literacy, and using technology to meet their personal and professional goals. She is an advocate for digital equity in Delaware County.

Public street parking is managed by Media Borough and is available on W. Franklin Street and South Jackson Street. Please check signage for residential, handicapped, and metered parking spaces around Media Fellowship House. Free parking options are also available in the immediate area.
