Light refreshments will be served. Laptops will be available for public use. \n\n\n\n\nRegister to Attend\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDigital navigation program at MFH\n\n\n\nMeet our instructor\n\n\n\nJulia Messam is Media Fellowship House’s Digital Navigator\, focused on expanding access\, confidence\, and opportunity through technology. She works to remove barriers to digital access and build confidence in essential technology skills. Julia supports community members in securing affordable devices and internet service\, strengthening digital literacy\, and using technology to meet their personal and professional goals. She is an advocate for digital equity in Delaware County. \n\n\n\n\n\nParking:\n\n\n\nPublic street parking is managed by Media Borough and is available on W. Franklin Street and South Jackson Street. Please check signage for residential\, handicapped\, and metered parking spaces around Media Fellowship House. DESCRIPTION:Join Nalandabodhi Philadelphia for in-person Introduction to Meditation / Discovering Oneself at Media Fellowship House. \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a beginner or an experienced meditator\, please join us monthly for “Discovering Oneself”\, an introduction to meditation course within Nalandbodhi’s Path of Meditation curriculum. DESCRIPTION:Join Transtiion Town Greater Media (TTGM) on Sunday\, August 16 from 4-6 PM for a potluck meal with a twist. Meet your neighbors and help weave some community connections. \n\n\n\nHere’s how it will work:  We’ll gather between 4 and 6PM\, no official start or end. Come when you can and stay as long as you’d like! \n\n\n\nPlease bring a dish to share made from locally produced food. This could be something from your personal garden\, your local farmers market or CSA\, or something you’ve recently foraged. \n\n\n\nWe also ask you to think about something you need or could use help with (Request) and/or something you can offer to help with (Offer). Requests and Offers can be really simple things like offering to provide a ride to a doctor appointment\, sharing a conversation for an hour\, or playing a game. They could also be skills that you have and are willing to share\, such as how to do some kind of artwork\, gardening help\, pet care or handy work around the house. It’s really anything you can imagine! At the end of the night\, we will match the Requests to the Offers so that everyone can get the help they need. *Note: If you can’t think of an offer and a request\, come anyway!  Maybe you’ll be inspired. \n\n\n\nBesides sharing a delicious meal\, our goal is to have you leave with at least one simple connection to help someone or have someone help you.
