DESCRIPTION:A great opportunity to share your love with your community!\n\n\n\nIn partnership with Cedar Creek Catering\, Media Fellowship House\, Media Food Bank\, and First Church Media\, we invite the local community to support us in making our 5th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner a huge success! \n\n\n\nJoin us for donation and volunteer opportunities leading up to the event. Volunteer shifts run from Wednesday 11/15 through Saturday\, 11/18. \n\n\n\nALL are welcome to dine in or take-out meals from 12 – 4 pm. Please share this opportunity with your friends\, family\, and neighbors. We hope to bring joy and warmth to many this holiday season. \n\n\n\nIn recent years\, we have prepared and served over 600 delicious meals catered by Cedar Creek Catering and prepared with loving hands from our community. Please join us in volunteering\, donating\, or enjoying a meal with your neighbors. \n\n\n\nIt takes a community to feed a community!

SUMMARY:United for Justice Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:A community collaboration began in the spirit of Black Lives Matter following George Floyd’s murder by police in 2020. The purpose of UNITED FOR JUSTICE is to act on issues of Social Justice. With a strong belief in building and caring for diverse communities\, we have installations in four Media locations for those who want to reflect on social justice and peace-building. Plaques in each site honor Black people killed by police. United for Justice aims to build compassion for the families affected.  \n\n\n\nCome learn about this student-led art & activism project sponsored by Media Fellowship House\, Media-Providence Friends School\, Media Friends Meeting\, Providence Friends Meeting & the Sandy Bank Burial Ground Committee. \n\n\n\nMedia Fellowship House will be hosting an open house from 12-3 pm on Sunday\, November 12th.
