SUMMARY:Community Garden Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Garden Clean Up Day! Join us Saturday April 18th for a Garden Prep Day as we get our beds ready for planting! Volunteers will help lay out garden beds\, fill them with soil\, and prepare the space for a successful growing season. \n\n\n\nMedia Fellowship House is proud to kick off the third year of our youth-centered initiative in Spring 2026\, centered on growing fresh vegetables and herbs for our community through our garden\, Cultivating Justice. This program offers a hands-on opportunity to experience the full gardening process—from planting to harvest—while increasing access to fresh\, locally grown produce. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we are expanding our garden by three additional beds\, allowing us to grow even more produce and deepen our impact. Last year\, we were honored to participate in the Penn State Extension Master Gardener of Delaware County 34th Annual Garden Contest\, where we proudly earned First Place in the Novice Community Garden category. \n\n\n\nCome dig in with us and be part of something growing—literally!  \n\n\n\nWe encourage you to bring your garden gloves and a shovel if you have one! We will be moving our freshly delivered garden soil from the street to the garden beds.
