What better way is there to resolve our differences or to create new ideas than coming together in Fellowship to talk. This is the reason that Media Fellowship House brought Dialogue Circles to Media. Dialogue Circles are opportunities for small groups of citizens (8 to 12) to sit together in a public space, and share a constructive, respectful conversation with one another.
Dialogue Circles are facilitated by experienced professionals with the goal of promoting open dialogue – NOT debate.
The Dialogue Circle model is not a new idea. Many communities across America have successfully used it over the past 25 years to develop new strategies to create more democratic and inclusive communities that have made a greater commitment to taking on racism and other challenging and problematic issues in American society.
If you’d like to be included in our next Dialogue Circles group, sign up on our “Get Involved” page.
